What You'll Be Doing
Daily Operations
- Keep the dispensary running smoothly by ensuring medication stock is regularlytopped up.
- Accurately pack and dispense prescriptions in line with clinical standards.
- Counsel patients clearly and confidently, following Good Dispensing Guidelines.
- Recognise basic drug regimens and flag any potential interactions to pharmacists orprescribers.
- Provide friendly, professional support to patients and handle any concerns or querieswith care.
- Offer specialised counselling to help patients get the most out of their medications.
Pharmacy Environment & Equipment
Conduct routine checks on equipment like refrigerators, weighing machines, andcomputers.Keep the pharmacy clean and well-organised, ensuring hygiene standards are met.Replenish consumables at the counters to support daily operations.Inventory Management
Monitor and restock medications, supplies, and informational materials.Check expiry dates and ensure all pharmacy items are in good condition.Automation & Technology
Support the medication repackaging process and carry out quality checks.Keep a close eye on automated stock levels and flag any equipment issues tosupervisors.Team Support & Training
Guide and mentor new hires, helping them understand workflows and processes.Be an active part of the team, sharing knowledge and supporting a collaborativework culture.Security & Safety
Maintain the security of medications, confidential information, and the pharmacyspace.Follow standard operating procedures to prevent security risks.Quality & Improvement
Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.Suggest ideas to improve workflows and enhance patient care delivery.Other Duties
Support the team by taking on other tasks assigned by your supervisor as needed.What We're Looking For
Diploma holders in Pharmaceutical Sciences, graduates of the Certified PharmacyTechnician Course, or foreign-trained pharmacists with relevant experience.Strong customer service mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.A self-motivated team player with a positive, proactive attitude.Ready to bring your skills into a role that values care, precision, and teamwork?
