Lead Finance in a Fast-Growth, Private Equity-Backed Pharma Innovator

We are partnering exclusively with a private equity-backed pharmaceutical company headquartered in Southeast Asia , focused on expanding access to specialty therapies across the region and beyond. With commercial operations in key APAC markets and a robust product development pipeline, the company is entering its next phase of value creation — and is now hiring a Chief Financial Officer to lead its global finance strategy.

This is a pivotal leadership role for a finance executive who thrives in high-growth, transformation-driven environments , and is experienced in partnering with private equity investors to deliver financial performance, strategic agility, and long-term enterprise value.

What You’ll Be Driving

Strategic Finance Leadership
Set the financial roadmap and provide strategic input across budgeting, forecasting, investment planning, and capital structure optimization.
PE Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as the key liaison to private equity sponsors and the board, ensuring transparent, insightful reporting, and clear alignment on value creation initiatives.
Business Partnering
Partner closely with commercial, R&D, and supply chain leaders to support new product launches, market expansion, and operational performance improvements.
M&A and Growth Strategy
Lead due diligence, integration, and financial modeling for bolt-on acquisitions and strategic partnerships across the region.
Build scalable, investor-grade finance processes, systems, and controls aligned to international best practices.
Inspire, develop, and manage a regional finance team, cultivating high standards and a commercially engaged mindset.

What We’re Looking For

15+ years of finance experience, with proven success in a senior leadership or CFO role, ideally in a private equity-backed or high-growth pharma, biotech, or healthcare company

Strong grounding in fundamentals of capital structuring, financial modeling, investor reporting , and working capital optimization

Regional exposure across APAC markets; comfortable navigating cross-border teams, stakeholders, and compliance environments

Hands-on, agile, and commercially-minded – capable of zooming in and out across detail and strategy

Experience in M&A transactions and growth-stage finance transformation is strongly preferred

Qualifications

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field

CPA, CA, or MBA highly regarded

Familiarity with IFRS or US GAAP, especially in the context of international pharma compliance
