Job descriptionExperience : Minimum 1 year drafting for interior fit-out, carpentry, or architectural projects; portfolio of shop-drawing examples required. Software Proficiency : Strong command of AutoCAD; familiarity with SketchUp, Revit, or 3D visualisation tools is advantageous. Technical Knowledge : Sound understanding of joinery construction, hardware, and Singapore building standards; able to interpret designer sketches and site measurements accurately. Attention to Detail : Meticulous, organised, and committed to producing error-free drawings within tight deadlines. Communication Skills : Clear verbal and written skills for discussing technical issues with designers, site supervisors, and factory personnel. Team Ethic : Responsible, proactive, and able to juggle multiple projects while upholding quality and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Shop & Fabrication Drawings - Produce accurate AutoCAD drawings, elevations, and sectional details for custom cabinetry, millwork, and interior fit-out works.
- Design Translation - Convert designers' concepts and site measurements into build-ready drawings that meet structural, aesthetic, and regulatory requirements.
- Revision Management - Update drawings promptly in response to client feedback, site changes, and coordination with suppliers or subcontractors.
- Technical Coordination - Liaise with project managers, carpenters, and fabricators to resolve dimensional conflicts, material selections, and installation methods.
- Documentation Control - Maintain an organised library of drawings, templates, and material specifications for future reference and quality assurance.
