Your day at NTT DATA

The Vice President, Go-To-Market Sales is a senior leadership role, responsible for defining and articulating the sales strategy, linking the company's value proposition against real-world business challenges.

This senior leadership role is a sales and market driven role, responsible for planning, driving and ensuring the flawless execution of sales initiatives, activities and programs to meet sales revenue and strategy.

This senior leadership role oversees, leads and manages a sales function within Singapore and strives to foster a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on strategic and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities :

  • Translate the global sales strategy into a country-specific sales strategy.
  • Contribute to the executive management of the organization, ensuring the sales organization adapts to current business drivers and initiatives.
  • Drive a sales culture by sharing best practices and developing cross-functional relationships.
  • Provide direction for teams to develop policies and ensure their implementation.
  • Ensure sales teams have coaching, tools, and processes to meet objectives.
  • Set sales targets aligned with global targets to meet organizational growth objectives.
  • Lead the sales function, manage budgets, create plans, and report team activities.
  • Identify issues and provide strategy and direction for sales teams.
  • Forecast and develop annual sales quotas, projecting sales volume and profit.
  • Develop and implement sales programs and action plans.
  • Manage sales volume, product mix, and pricing strategies based on market trends.
  • Build strategic relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Track sales performance, analyze metrics, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and use insights to adapt sales approaches.

Knowledge and Attributes :

  • Strong sales business acumen and understanding of client’s business.
  • Effective client engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Knowledge of company offerings and market trends to position solutions effectively.
  • Resource optimization and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in sales pursuit, strategy execution, and talent management.
  • Academic Qualifications and Certifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Advanced degree such as an MBA is desirable.
  • Required Experience :

  • Significant sales leadership experience, preferably in a global technology services organization.
  • Proven success in strategic planning and execution.
  • Experience in media, financial results management, negotiations, and go-to-market strategies.
