As a Mechanic, you’ll repair and overhaul gas turbine engines.
What you’ll do :
- Disassemble engine and Build Inspect engine and engine components.
- Work independently and as a team to achieve maximum quality
- Complete relevant paperwork to ensure accuracy
- Observe all applicable safety practices and aviation regulations
- Model behaviors consistent with good quality, health and safety, and environmental management practices
Position Requirements
Ability to read and interpret manuals, technical drawings, and blueprints to determine proper operating conditionsAbility to follow both written and verbal instructionsAbility to lift up to 50lbs without assistanceAbility to stand for extended periods of time.Successful completion of TOWES (Test of Workplace Essential Skills) which will be facilitated and paid for by StandardAero (Red Seal Journeypersons excluded). – WINNIPEGPreferred Characteristics
GCE 'O" Level or “N” level, Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma form a Technical discipline, Aerospace Engineering Discipline or its equivalent
