Job description

Key Responsibilities :

Operational Management :

  • Manage daily non-clinical operations across both centers, including scheduling, facility maintenance, vendor contracts, and procurement of supplies.
  • Oversee patient flow processes to ensure efficiency and patient satisfaction.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) aligned with regulatory requirements and organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to ensure seamless integration of clinical and operational workflows.

Compliance and Quality Assurance :

  • Ensure adherence to all local regulatory standards, including those from the Ministry of Health (MOH), Workplace Safety and Health (WSH), and fire safety regulations.
  • Oversee infection control measures in non-clinical areas in coordination with clinical teams.
  • Monitor and manage risk assessments and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Financial and Resource Management :

  • Manage operational budgets, including tracking expenditures and ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Negotiate and manage vendor and supplier contracts.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational efficiency.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration :

  • Lead and develop non-clinical staff, including administrative and support teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Partner with the Nurse Manager to address operational challenges and optimize staffing schedules.
  • Act as the liaison between clinical staff and corporate leadership, ensuring smooth communication and alignment of objectives.
  • Technology and Data Management :

  • Oversee the implementation and management of IT systems for operations, such as patient scheduling software and inventory tracking tools.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with PDPA (Personal Data Protection Act).
  • Leverage data analytics to improve operational processes and performance.
  • Crisis Management and Contingency Planning :

  • Develop and implement contingency plans for operational disruptions, such as equipment failure or staffing shortages.
  • Manage emergency preparedness initiatives, including drills and resource allocation during crises.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, business administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in healthcare operations, preferably in an ambulatory care or surgical setting.
  • Strong understanding of Singapore's healthcare regulatory environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in operational software and familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is an advantage.
