We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Help Desk Support Technician to provide remote technical assistance for desktop systems and Microsoft applications. This role involves troubleshooting issues related to Windows environments, Office 365, SharePoint, PowerApps, and other standard IT systems. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of IT fundamentals, and a customer-focused approach.
key Responsibilities :
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and basic network configuration
- Communicate with users to identify issues and guide them through solutions via phone, email, or chat
- Track issues through to resolution, ensuring timely follow-up
- Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
- Provide clear and accurate feedback to users
- Use internal documentation and online resources to resolve issues
- Log all support activities and maintain proper records
- Prioritize and manage multiple open cases simultaneously
- Follow up to ensure systems are fully functional after troubleshooting
- Install, re-install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS and Microsoft applications (e.g., MS Office, Outlook)
Requirements :
Diploma or Degree in IT or related fieldAround 2 years of experience in desktop support and maintenanceFamiliarity with desktop operating systems (Windows 7 / 8 / 10)Experience with MS Office installation and supportBasic understanding of networking (TCP / IP, DNS, VPN)Knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, SharePoint, and PowerApps or Power AutomateFamiliarity with IT ticketing systems and remote desktop toolsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyGood communication and customer service skillsAbility to stay organized and maintain professionalism under pressureThis position is open to all who are fulfilling aforesaid requirments.
