Your new company

A global investment bank looking to hire a payroll and finance operations professional. Cover all things payroll in a lean finance team, working across select APAC region countries. Some finance operations responsibilities on top.

Your new role

Payroll :

Act as a true subject-matter expert for Singapore payroll

Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of payroll implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery in collaboration with the Implementation team.

Develop and maintain detailed project plans & timelines

Serves as the primary point of contact for the team for all stakeholders involved in the implementation process, including internal teams and vendors.

Develop and implement standardised payroll processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency

Manage employer tax filings

Lead payroll accounting

Streamline and automate processes where possible

Working with internal teams to improve platform, completing UAT testing through to shipping

Finance :

  • Accounts payable and receivable, expenses claims processing, cash flow management
  • Support finance operations projects

What you'll need to succeed

Payroll and finance experience

APAC experience is a bonus

Experience with leading banks, hedge funds, or investment management is a bonus

Knowledge of expense allocation processes

IT skills including MS Office, and a bonus would be PeopleSoft, Concur, or such like

Professional and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Degree in Accounting or Finance is a bonus
