Attend daily subcontractor meetings to address M&E-related issues and ensure alignment with the project's target schedule.
Monitor site progress and ensure subcontractors comply with safety regulations; report observations to the immediate superior and safety officer.
Verify that subcontractors' work aligns with approved drawings and specifications; initiate corrective measures for any non-conformance.
Conduct routine inspections alongside the Resident Engineer (RE) or Resident Technical Officer (RTO), and take prompt actions to address their comments, ensuring work approvals for progression.
Maintain accurate and organized records of inspection forms for future reference, including use as evidence in potential legal matters related to defects.
Demonstrate confidence when coordinating with workers, subcontractors, and peers; seek guidance from senior site staff when uncertain, while fostering mutual respect and understanding of contractual obligations.
Aim for quick and effective approvals on assigned tasks, and consistently apply BCA's best practices in all site operations.
Support and participate in the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs as established by the Project Manager and Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO), contributing to a safe and clean work environment.
Pursue continuous professional development by attending BCA or equivalent training courses, and explore cost-effective solutions for on-site implementation.
Willingly take on additional responsibilities that support the overall project team and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.
Provide mentorship and guidance to new M&E supervisors to ensure smooth onboarding and integration, maintaining project progress without disruptions.
