Reporting to the Goup Controller, Vice President, Finance, as the Group Accountant , you will be responsible for the financial consolidation and reporting for the Group and SGX compliance. You will be part of a team, ensuring compliance with group accounting policies by Group entities worldwide. You will be the subject matter expert in financial and management reporting, guide and supervise accountants and finance teams worldwide as the Subject Matter expert. You will also be responsible to develop and update the group accounting policies in tandem with the latest development in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards.

I) Key Objectives of Position & Day to Day Responsibilities

Group financial reporting and SGX reporting

Prepare AEM Holdings Ltd’s group consolidation

Guide and supervise subsidiaries’ accountants and ensure compliance with group accounting policies and SGX reporting requirement.

Develop and update group accounting policies

Be the key liaison point to external auditors and handles statutory audit requirements for both consolidated and standalone accounts.

Prepare the required SGX reporting and announcement related forms.

Continuously improve the financial reporting package and processes based on feedback to / from worldwide finance teams.

Group FP&A support

Produce and analyse group results (actual, forecast and budget) with the Group Finance team.

Produce and analyse financial performance for stakeholders.

AEM Holdings Ltd’s bookkeeping and tax filing

Maintain and manage the accounts of AEM Holdings Ltd in SAP

Handles tax filing and addresses tax queries if any, with the support of external tax consultant

Support to Group transfer pricing project

Be part of group transfer pricing and benchmark study projects, and review pricing basis of intercompany transactions

Others

Perform end-to-end functions such as intercompany billing, payment, and collection of management fees.

Prepare information and complete surveys and returns to government agencies.

Other duties and projects as required.

II) Relevant Experience & Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accountancy, and / or ACCA or CPA / Chartered Accountant with minimum 5 years’ experience in financial reporting

Prior audit experience or SGX reporting experience is preferred.

Strong MS Office & Excel skills

Proficiency in SAP
