Role Summary :

This person will play a key Finance Business Partner role to the Vehicle Sales teams and to provide them with relevant commercial support for business strategy formulations as well as day-to-day decision making.

Crucial to the success of this role will be the ability to build strong relationships with all levels of stakeholders, ability to tell a story using numbers, attention to details and the ability to work to deadlines.

This is a highly visible, high impact role with regular interactions with Sales Directors, Finance Director and Country Managing Director.

Job Responsibilities

Financial Planning, Management, and Reporting :

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, including financial and non-financial metrics.
  • Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability assessments, and cash flow forecasting, to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage bi-weekly pricing discussions, ensuring alignment with key business priorities such as market share growth, sales maximization, profitability, and working capital optimization.

Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration :

  • Serve as the primary financial advisor to business unit leaders, providing strategic insights to support financial and operational goals.
  • Facilitate discussions with senior leadership to align financial strategies with corporate objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial and operational efficiencies.

    • Process Improvement and Operational Efficiency :

  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Identify and implement cost optimization strategies to improve financial performance.

    • New Business Development and Investment Analysis :

  • Support commercial teams in evaluating investment opportunities, conducting financial due diligence, and preparing business cases for new ventures.
  • Assess feasibility and financial impact of strategic projects to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.

    • Compliance and Risk Management :

  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement measures to strengthen financial governance and risk management.

    • Core skills and competencies required

  • Excellent Excel modelling and data manipulation skills.
  • Inquisitive, numerical and analytical mindset – keen to find answers in the data
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to create effective relationships with stakeholders at many levels
  • Strong analytics with a high attention to detail
  • Delivery focused with an ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Strong commercial acumen with operational insight
  • Strong organisation and planning skills and ability to prioritise
  • Passion, enthusiasm, energy and drive – a “can do” attitude
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience post-bachelor's degree
