Roles & Responsibilities

Haier Singapore is the International HQ of Haier Group and is the main platform to provide procurement, trading, R&D and big data supports to over 80 countries in Asia, Europe, Africa and North America markets.

As the continuous demands from global businesses, we are looking for experienced Tax Manger to support our Finance team in Singapore.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for all tax matters for the Singapore Company, including Corporate Income Tax, Indirect Tax, Withholding Tax and Transfer Pricing;
  • Manage TP analysis and documentation.
  • Manage tax internal control and local tax audit and queries, if any.
  • Provide timely and knowledgeable advice to the business on local and international taxes across various projects assigned by HQ
  • Support M&A initiatives, if any
  • Improve overall efficiency of tax processes and procedures。

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Degree in accountancy or taxation
  • Certified CPA / Chartered Accountant is preferred
  • 5+ years tax experience; multinational company experience is preferred
  • Good working knowledge of Singapore taxation required. International tax knowledge is a plus.

  • Outstanding conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills, coupled with a high energy level.
  • Ability to be proactive and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented.
  • Able to work both independently and as a team player.
  • Chinese proficiency to liaise with HQ colleagues
