Principal (Pre-school, Non-Childcare)

Roles & Responsibilities

Role Overview

We’re on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Principal to work closely with young children and their families. In this role, you’ll :

Implement lesson plans & activities prepared by HQ, according to level and our centre’s curriculum

Adhere to ECDA’s requirements and policies

Comply with Masjid Al-Istiqamah SOPs and internal policies

Collaborate cooperatively in a supportive team environment

Key Responsibilities

Prepare workplan and budget

Oversee allocation and management of school resources

Supervise and evaluate teachers and support staff

Manage school schedule and teacher deployment

Support enrolment activities

Conduct and lead team meetings for program improvements and feedback

Qualifications & Skills

1. Education

Minimum Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (Leadership) from an accredited institution, or an equivalent qualification.

2. Skills & Competencies

Comfortable engaging with parents and guardians

Ability to converse in both English and Malay (to communicate with Malay-speaking parents and students)

Proficient in MS Office (MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint)

3. Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in early childhood education, with experience in a supervisory or leadership role being an advantage
