Job description

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

  • Experience on designing and developing Cloud-native solutions
  • Experience on Cloud migration, integration patterns, high availability patterns, etc. (e.g. REST APIs, Container platforms, Event-driven architecture, etc)
  • Broad technical knowledge and experience across application, development frameworks and technologies
  • Experience with Java / Spring / Angular, Oracle / PostgreSQL DB, Linux, API, Kafka etc.
  • Functional / Business knowledge (of his current / past companies), ideally on core banking or portfolio management systems. Interest in Financial & Banking industry
  • Experience working on a project or in an architecture team covering a large ecosystem of applications (30+)
  • Experience in modeling activities (application maps, software design models, data modeling, infrastructure diagrams, etc.)
  • Strong analysis skills with problem solving attitude
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written documents and oral presentations, explaining concepts clearly to audiences at various levels of technical knowledge
  • Effective leadership, planning and organization skills

Plus

  • Experience of Enterprise Architecture discipline, processes, concepts, and best practices
  • Experience in Wealth Management, or Financial and Banking Industry
  • Knowledge of a Wealth Management Core Banking System such as Temenos T24 / Transact, ERI Olympic or Avaloq
  • SCRUM / Agile experience
  • Experience running Request for Proposal and assessing solutions

    • Specific Qualifications (if required)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience architecting or developing solutions in a Cloud environment
  • 5+ years of experience in IT either as an Enterprise Architect or Solution Architect
  • Architecture certification (TOGAF) or Cloud Architect certification (AWS, IBM Cloud)
