Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the full-suite finance function setup at our Singapore headquarters. This position plays a central role in ensuring financial integrity, statutory compliance, and effective group-level consolidation across our regional entities in Asia and Europe. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with end-to-end accounting, experienced in multi-entity consolidation, and capable of navigating cross-border finance environments.
As this role supports international operations, occasional overseas travel is required to engage with stakeholders and coordinate with local teams.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Financial Reporting & Consolidation
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports across the group.
- Perform consolidation of multiple entities across Asia and Europe, ensuring compliance with IFRS and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
- Ensure timely and accurate generation of a full set of accounts – balance sheet, profit & loss, cash flow, and notes.
- Monitor intercompany transactions and lead global financial reconciliations.
2. Statutory Accounting, Tax & Audit
Manage corporate tax computation and filing in Singapore in compliance with IRAS, including deferred tax liabilities (DTL) and transfer pricing where relevant.Coordinate statutory and internal audits; manage relationships with external auditors in Singapore and group locations.Maintain documentation and prepare audit schedules.Ensure compliance with GST, withholding tax, and cross-border financial regulations.3. Treasury & Working Capital Management
Oversee banking operations, FX exposure, fund transfers, and cash flow forecasting.Collaborate with banks and financial institutions to address funding needs, credit facilities, and investment strategies.Ensure timely vendor payments and efficient management of receivables.4. Stakeholder Management & Team Collaboration
Collaborate with operations, project, legal, and HQ finance teams to align financial strategies.Support the SVP and senior management with reporting, analysis, and financial insights.Mentor junior finance staff (in the future) and contribute to building a high-performance finance function.Qualifications :
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CA) is required.10+ years of progressive finance experience with multinational exposure.3-4 years of corporate finance experience (debt structuring, M&A, capital raising)Startup or high-growth company experience - comfortable with ambiguity and building from scratchStrong experience in multi-entity consolidation, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.Knowledge of IFRS, SFRS, and regional tax rules (Indonesia, Middle East and Australia).Prior experience supporting international subsidiaries or cross-border finance functions is highly desirable.Proficiency in accounting systems, Excel, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, ERP systems).Excellent communication skills; Mandarin proficiency is a plus for engaging with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.Willingness to travel occasionally for international finance support.Tell employers what skills you have
