The APAC Brokerage & IOR EOR Specialist assists in providing customized brokerage services and IOR / EOR support to customers. This position supports the brokerage product development and growth, help customers maintain compliance with cross-border regulatory requirements. This position assists in facilitating customer engagements, RFQ and solutions, monitor and manage exceptions, and supports IOR EOR service offering. This position assists liaising between UPS stakeholders and the customer, maintain customer satisfaction and resolve customer issues.
Responsibilities
UPS GFF Brokerage Product Development
- Supports APAC Brokerage Manager and work with various UPS Global Freight Forwarding functions to support development of UPS Brokerage Product in the region
- Supports communication and alignment of UPS stakeholders to support delivery of UPS Brokerage Solutions for form a full portfolio of UPS service
- Assists Brokerage Manager in helping customers anticipate key regulatory requirements for new product development and market entry activities.
- Reviews financial reports to identify exceptions and opportunities for enhancements.
IOR EOR service offering and assessment
Assist in our business and trade compliance due diligence assessment for consideration of IOR EOR service offeringSupports the Brokerage Manager on reviewing region policy and establish set criteria whereby UPS will assume the role of IOR / EORReview IOR / EOR service fee structureAssists with UPS Brokerage & IOR EOR Solution Delivery
Supports the Brokerage Manager on customer Requests for Information / QuotationAssists with preparing customer-facing materials, reports, and other documents.Helps ensure solution meets customer requirements.Assists in the develop and maintain of Standard Operating ProceduresMonitors customs memorandums and notices to stay aware of regulation changes and industry news.Resolves customs problems in a timely manner to meet customers' expectations and avoid penaltiesAssist in generating reports for business review with customers focusing on KPIs and metrics.Requirements
Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Customs Administration, Business Administration or Logistics related fields.Experience in freight forwarding preferredCustoms Brokerage license and / or training certification is advantageous and preferred.Familiarity with IOR / EOR processes and international trade regulations is an advantagePossess 1-2 years of experience in a customs and trade compliance role or customer fronting role is a plus.Demonstrate strong project management skills and good presentation / communications skills.
