About the department
This role is part of our newly unified Medical and Marketing department, based in Singapore. You will report directly to the Senior Director of Customer Engagement and Capabilities, Region APAC, and work in a dynamic, collaborative, and innovative environment that thrives on teamwork and shared goals.
The position
As a Senior Manager, Channel Optimization, you will be responsible for driving the adoption and effective use of our digital engagement platforms across the APAC region. This is a business-critical role that sits at the intersection of marketing and technology. It's designed for a hands-on expert who is passionate about the "how" of digital execution. Your mission is to act as the bridge between our business (the affiliates) and technology partners. You will deeply understand our core digital channels (e.g., Email, Webinars, Portals, Messaging), translate their technical capabilities into business opportunities for affiliates, and drive implementation and best-practice usage.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Channel Implementation & Adoption : Drive the end-to-end implementation of new digital channels in affiliates. Develop and execute plans to increase adoption and proficiency for both new and existing channels across all markets, ensuring teams can leverage them effectively.
- Channel Performance Optimization : Continuously monitor channel-specific KPIs and analyse performance data. Partner with affiliates to implement optimization initiatives that improve user engagement, data capture, and overall effectiveness.
- Business-Technology Translation : Act as the primary business liaison to technical Product Owners (Commercial Digital Data & IT / Global Business Services). Gather, prioritize, and translate business needs from affiliates into clear technical requirements, ensuring the technology roadmap reflects affiliate needs and realities.
- Hands-On Affiliate Enablement & Best Practice Sharing : Promote and drive the adoption of digital channels across affiliates. Develop and share practical playbooks, run hands-on training sessions, and provide ongoing support. Establish and curate a repository of best practices for each channel, fostering a community of practices where successes and learnings are shared openly across the region.
- System Integrity & Cross-Functional Support : Ensure you have a clear understanding of the data flow and integration between channels to support the comprehensive omnichannel journeys designed by the omnichannel engagement senior manager. Partner with IT to troubleshoot issues and maintain system integrity.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.Must be either a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident to work in Singapore.Strategic mindset with a focus on optimizing systems and enabling others. Willing to dive into technical details and solve problems hands-on. Believes in delivering simple, effective plans today rather than perfect plans tomorrow.7–10+ years of experience in digital marketing operations, channel management, or marketing technology (MarTech),. Proven experience with digital marketing platforms and tools.Thrives in fast-paced environments, comfortable with ambiguity, and energized by dynamic workloads. Embraces a "minimum viable product" mindset to drive speed and learning. Able to communicate technical concepts clearly to both business and IT teams. Uses data to diagnose channel health, identify improvement opportunities, and translate insights into actions for platform enhancement and user training.
