Our client is a leading multinational insurance company. Right now, they are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their well-established finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting business operations through accurate financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and statutory filings.

Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS / GAAP) and regulatory requirements.

Handle month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities as needed.

Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.

Support internal controls and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support business initiatives.

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) is preferred.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.

Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.

Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
