Job Overview

We are seeking an established Design Director with experience in the crypto, trading or fintech industry to lead our exchanges’ end-to-end User Experience and brand Visual identity. You will build an efficient design team, drive product innovation and ensure that our trading platform is at the forefront of the industry, in terms of security, ease of use and visual performance. This also includes driving user growth and brand globalization through design.

Responsibilities

Strategy and Leadership

  • Develop the design strategy of the exchange, unify the design language of product UI / UX, brand marketing and operational activities, and strengthen the industry attributes of “safety, professionalism, convenience and innovation.”
  • Establish and manage a cross-product, operational and marketing design team, establish design processes and collaboration standards

Product Experience Design

  • Leading the interaction and visual identity of the core scenarios of the exchange (such as trading pair display, consultation, K-Line charts, trading orders, order display), balancing the complexity and user-friendliness of financial products
  • Lead data-driven design solutions proposed for vertical needs such as contract trading, quantitative tools and strategy markets.

    • Industry Insights

  • Continuously research the design trends of market competitors and propose innovative solutions based on derivates and Web3 user behaviour.
  • Drive the design team to understand the futures trading market and translate it into intuitive visual expression

    • Requirements

  • At least 5 years of design experience, with team management experience and proven examples of driving design projects in a fintech / exchange / crypto trading environment.
  • Proficiency in designing complex business systems (dashboards, data lake visualisation), familiarity with tools such as Figma, Sketch, ProtoPie.
  • Deep understanding of crypto and futures industry, and understanding of user trading psychology, along with regulatory compliance requirements (e.g. risk warning designs).
  • Technical knowledge of motion graphics design, 3D visualization ability or front-end foundation will be advantageous.
