We are seeking a field-based Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for part of our drug portfolio. The MSL meets up to educate / update Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and relevant stakeholders on the latest medical, clinical and relevant data of our products and product pipelines, answers their scientific questions and gathers clinical insights / needs / feedback from medical experts and communicates key information back to internal stakeholders. The MSL also provides education internally, training internal stakeholders and providing updated and relevant scientific and clinical information. The incumbent will also be the Quality Responsible Person and Assistant Local Safety Officer for the company.
Responsibilities
Medical Science Liaison – Oncology & 2 Other Therapeutic Areas
- Data Presentations to KOL
- Field-based MSL
- Ensure appropriate identification and engagement of KOL and study investigators in alignment to Eisai’s product strategy
- Involve Healthcare Providers (HCP) when a need is identified to organize / provide support / advice / participate in specific medical and scientific activities e.g. advisory boards, expert meetings, hospital talks education of HCPs, publications
- Provide support for local / regional / global congresses
- Participates in the development of strategic plans in collaboration with other teams to drive the success of our products
- Support Market Access and Regulatory for Medical inputs for HTA / HSA submissions
- Supports investigator-initiated research studies aligned with the Global Clinical Development Plan and Medical Affairs studies
- Train and support commercial team by providing updated and relevant scientific and clinical information
- Collaborate and communicate closely with commercial and regional / global medical teams
- Respond to scientific and medical inquiries to establish and / or further the knowledge and understanding of our products including addressing issues about safety and off-label use of our products based on scientific data
- Review promotional materials to ensure compliance to Eisai Code of Conduct and local regulations
- Accurate representation of data
Quality
Maintain and review local quality SOPs / Guidelines to ensure a robust Quality Management SystemKeep track of and follow up on product complaints relating to qualityConduct relevant training for employees, including but not limited to Product Complaint and Product RecallAssistant Local Safety Officer
Responsible for Local Safety Officer duties in the absence of the Local Safety OfficerRequirements
Bachelor’s Degree in PharmacyMinimum of 1 year in a pharmaceutical / healthcare industryMedical Affairs / hospital inpatient experience would be an advantageExperience in the Oncology therapeutic area preferredSound knowledge of the Singapore healthcare systemExcellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skillsProven ability in building relationships with stakeholdersExcellent communication skills in conveying scientific informationGood command of English (both spoken and written)Dynamic individual, with an aggressive attitude towards achieving objectivesSeniority level
