Thai & Indonesian Cusine Chef - NA (ID : 7706) Industry Food & Beverage / Catering / Restaurant Specialization Food / Beverage / Restaurant Position Level Senior Working Hours 10am - 10pm (2 hrs lunch break) Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a wide range of Indonesian & Thai dishes with precision & authenticity - including appetizers, main courses & desserts.
- Develop and innovate new recipes while maintaining authenticity for Catering
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of food quality, hygiene & presented beautifully at customer events.
- Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies & maintaining equipment.
- Train & supervise kitchen staff, ensuring a smooth & efficient workflow.
- Maintain cleanliness & organization of the kitchen, adhering to health & safety regulations.
- Collaborate with management to create seasonal menus & special offerings. Requirements
- Preferable 2-5 years of experience in Thai / Indonesian cuisine cooking in hotel or catering company.
- Strong knowledge of traditional Thai & Indonesian cooking techniques, methods & spices.
- Knowledge of halal certification requirements and food safety protocols is a plus.
- Able to do bulk cooking for catering business and conduct training in English.
- Excellent leadership & communication skills.
- Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays.
