Roles & Responsibilities

ABOUT SAINT PIERRE : Helmed by Chef-Owner Emmanuel Stroobant, Saint Pierre is a contemporary French restaurant with a history of fine dining excellence since 2000. Located at One Fullerton, Singapore, the restaurant offers diners one of the best views of the city, with a floor-to-ceiling panorama of the Marina Bay waterfront. The cuisine is guided by Chef Stroobant’s philosophical approach to simplicity and quality of produce. Saint Pierre earned its first Michelin Star in the 2017 edition of Michelin Guide Singapore and retained it in the following year. The restaurant was awarded Two Michelin Stars in 2019 and has maintained the accolade since

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver exceptional service to guests with meticulous attention to detail
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of our menu, wine list, and seasonal offerings
  • Guide guests through their dining experience with professionalism and warmth
  • Oversee a station within the restaurant, coordinating with other service staff
  • Perform tableside service techniques including food presentation and carving
  • Assist with wine service and provide informed recommendations to guests
  • Ensure adherence to restaurant standards, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining are
  • Perform all service duties including but not limited to the following :
  • Opening and closing of restaurant
  • Taking and fulfilling customers’ order
  • Cleaning and clearing tables
  • Proper handling of the POS system
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns promptly and professionally
  • Any other duties, roles and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by the General / Restaurant Manager and Assistant Restaurant Manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Certificate or Diploma in hospitality or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a fine dining restaurant setting
  • Strong knowledge of food and wine pairing principles
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage
  • Professional appearance and exceptional personal grooming standards
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively under pressure
