About the team

The Strategic Solutions team is a high-performing commercial team within Worldpay, focused on identifying and driving new growth opportunities within our Global eCommerce Enterprise Merchant segment. Our team collaborates closely with the largest global merchants to optimize payments performance, increase revenue, and reduce costs through targeted product adoption and strategic market expansion.

We are data-driven, proactive, and relentless in transforming analysis into commercial impact—identifying patterns, trends, and opportunities before they become apparent.

What you will be doing

The Strategic Solutions Business Development team supports our Global, Enterprise Merchant segment, across APAC. We partner closely with Relationship Managers to deliver growth within existing accounts through our deep payments knowledge and eCommerce expertise.

As part of the Strategic Solutions Business Development team, you will play a critical role in using payments data, analytics, and insights to proactively drive growth for our customers across our product set.

Rather than simply responding to opportunities, you will be leading the charge—leveraging data to uncover hidden value, strategizing with internal teams, and working with merchants to unlock untapped revenue streams.

By focusing on both specific product and wider account teams, you are both a specialist and a generalist global cross-sale expert and are able drive growth within Worldpay where you see the most opportunity.

Key responsibilities :

  • Analyze transaction and payments data to uncover growth opportunities across value-added services.
  • Work with internal Relationship Managers & Product teams to prioritize high-impact opportunities and develop compelling business cases.
  • Proactively engage with existing merchants, educating and advising on new solutions that drive increased revenue, cost savings, and operational efficiency.
  • Build deep relationships with key stakeholders within merchant organizations, positioning Worldpay as a trusted strategic partner.
  • Drive internal sales strategies and forecasting, ensuring the most impactful initiatives are prioritized.
  • Maintain a strong analytical sales approach, where data and insights guide decision-making and sales execution.
  • Contribute to a high-performance culture, sharing insights, strategies, and successes to elevate the entire team.

What you bring

  • A strong analytical mindset, with experience in using data to drive sales and uncover hidden revenue opportunities.
  • Experience in consultative and analytical sales, particularly within global eCommerce, FX, payments, or financial services.
  • Deep knowledge of acquiring, FX, and gateway value-added services is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable commercial strategies.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to work cross-functionally across sales, product, and operations teams.
  • A highly proactive mindset—you don’t wait for opportunities, you create them.
  • Competitive spirit, curiosity, and a drive to simplify complexity through insights and execution.
  • A bachelor’s degree with at least 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or analytical roles within payments, finance or fintech.
