Job Title : Project Director - Renewable Energy (Solar & ESS)

Location : Singapore (with regional oversight in Indonesia)

About the Role :

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Project Director to lead the development and execution of a landmark 6GW solar and energy storage system (ESS) project spanning Singapore and Indonesia. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of clean energy in Southeast Asia while working in a lean, empowered team environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of a 6GW solar and ESS project, from feasibility through to commissioning and operations.
  • Oversee project planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Build and lead a high-performing cross-functional team, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards in Singapore and Indonesia.
  • Manage relationships with government agencies, investors, EPC contractors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Drive innovation and efficiency in project execution, leveraging best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Report to senior leadership on project milestones, risks, and strategic decisions.

Requirements :

  • Proven track record in leading large-scale renewable energy or infrastructure projects, ideally in solar and / or ESS.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and align diverse teams.
  • Resilience and adaptability in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with a long-term vision and commitment to sustainability.
  • Willingness to travel regionally as needed.
