Assistant Commercial Manager (mix fleets)

Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Commercial Manager to support the Commercial team in overseeing the financial and operational performance of vessels under full management. This role will work closely with Technical Superintendents, Fleet Managers, and other internal stakeholders to ensure vessel budgets, accounts, and purchasing processes are well-managed and aligned with company standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Monitor vessel budgets, prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports
• Liaise with Technical Superintendents and Owners on budgetary matters
• Assist in preparing annual budget proposals and ensuring timely approvals
• Review and oversee purchasing functions, ensuring compliance with company systems
• Support continuous improvement efforts and development of internal procedures
• Monitor supplier performance and assist with purchasing training
• Track and report on financial exposure to clients
