Job descriptionProven experience as a Cook or in a similar role. Knowledge of various cooking techniques and chinese cuisines . Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and food presentation. Non-halal dishes (Pork) Fast-paced kitchen setting. Standing for long hours and working with hot equipment. Collaborative team environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and restaurant standards.
- Ensure all food items are properly stored, labeled, and rotated.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure compliance with health codes.
- Assist in menu planning and suggest new dishes.
- Monitor food stock and coordinate with kitchen staff for timely replenishment.
- Work as part of a team to ensure timely food preparation and customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to portion control and minimize food waste.
- Assist food preparation (chopping, washing, marinating)
- Helps in plating and garnishing dishes
- Maintains kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
