We are seeking for a highly motivated and talented business development / sales manager with the relevant experience and expansive network within Singapore and South East Asia to accelerate our growth opportunities within Singapore through our corporate / enterprise focused Vodien brand.
The BD / Sales Manager is primarily responsible for driving growth in sales and product engagement through new customer acquisition as well as upsell and cross sell of existing corporate customer accounts. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing appropriate initiatives, plans, solutions and proposals working alongside a highly skilled and experience account management and support team.
Detailed Responsibilities will include :
- Plan and execute targeted initiatives in collaboration with other departments to drive customer acquisition through a variety of channels.
- Drive towards meeting challenging, but rewarding targets, goals and objectives.
- Develop, grow and nurture relationships based on consistent proactive and reactive communication with key corporate customers with a focus on customer needs and requirements.
- Prepare, deliver and present high quality, professional proposals, quotes and business plans crafted towards the customers’ needs and expectations applying negotiation skills as and when required.
- Plan, manage and execute the on boarding of new customers with applied strategy, process and organisation.
- Nurture a strong and structured strategy focused towards new and existing customers to tailor appropriate solutions and drive increased engagement in partnership between the organisation and customer.
- Maintain and grow an in-depth understanding of corporate customers and the general market.
- Work within a highly metricised environment across the Corporate Accounts team, ensure adequate forecasting, planning and projections along with tracking and periodic reporting as required.
- PImplement and manage any applicable corporate customer strategies and initiatives.
- Process incoming, missed and any other required customer communication with respect to corporate sales.
- Receive, communicate and escalate any customer concerns and issues within the Corporate Accounts team.
Desired Skillsets / Experience
Have at least 5 years of relevant work experience in business development roles, preferably in the Information Technology space.Possess a command for information technology, particularly within the area of Servers, Infrastructure as a service and associated enterprise products and solutions.Excellent selling skills with a “hunter” mentality.Have an entrepreneurial approach with a strong focus on innovation and is passionate towards customer advocacy.Possesses strong account management and relationship building skills.Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.Superb analytical skills with efficient ability to evaluate data and implement applicable action items and initiatives.Is a team player and have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
