You will support and drive dynamic tasks and functions under Planning and Strategy teams, which include the following :
Develop whole-of-WSG strategies, career health planning, and research agenda
- Competencies in critical thinking, a general understanding of economics, and outcomes reporting, that will help to develop and establish the value and impact of workstreams under WSG's multi-year strategy, WSG 2030, and report on its progress
- Proficiency in coordinating and driving WSG's overall position and efforts under career health planning as well as implementation
- Qualitative and quantitative research skills and an understanding of academic research ecosystem vis-à-vis areas of interest in career facilitation and jobs transformation, which are relevant for developing WSG's research agenda
Drive whole-of-WSG work planning, support WSG Board, and performance reporting
Proficiency in driving the annual corporate workplan process across WSGProficiency in undertaking Board secretariat functions and Board engagements, as well as WSG's annual corporate reportCompetencies in building and reviewing metrices and indicators to measure output and outcomes, to review and report WSG's key corporate performance indicators and supporting indicatorsRelevant understanding of organisation-wide risk management, to review and integrate Enterprise Risk Management with strategic planningCompetencies in facilitation and engagement, for overseeing and implementing change management in support of WSG 2030Proficiency in managing secretariat roles and coordination for key platforms and issues, and effective communications with stakeholders
Ability to undertake secretariat functions for key meeting platforms with Minister / Manpower and Permanent Secretary / Manpower, and related inter-agency workgroupsStrong liaison skills with the ability to effectively engage with MOM's policy divisions overseeing WSG's scope of workProficiency in coordinating WSG's inputs to annual Budget and Committee of Supply debatesAbility to coordinate responses to enquiries from MOM and other agencies on cross-cutting policy matters, parliamentary questions etcKnowledge / Skills
