About Our Client

Our client is a fast-growing OTC crypto firm expanding their regulatory footprint across multiple global jurisdictions. As they enter new markets, they are seeking an experienced Head of Compliance to lead regulatory strategy and licensing applications across key international crypto regulatory frameworks and virtual asset service provider (VASP) regimes.

Job Description

• Lead the end-to-end regulatory licensing process for crypto-related licenses across multiple overseas jurisdictions, particularly focusing on emerging and established VASP regulatory regimes.
• Prepare, review, and submit comprehensive licensing documentation in accordance with local regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities, building trusted relationships to facilitate smooth application and approval processes.
• Advise senior leadership on regulatory strategy, compliance frameworks, and evolving licensing obligations.
• Continuously monitor global regulatory developments impacting crypto and digital asset businesses to ensure ongoing compliance and risk mitigation.
• Build and scale the compliance function to support business growth and international expansion.

The Successful Applicant

• At least 10 years of compliance, legal, or regulatory experience within crypto.
• Proven experience in leading successful crypto licensing applications across diverse international jurisdictions governed by VASP or equivalent frameworks.
• Deep understanding of the global crypto regulatory landscape, including emerging licensing regimes and compliance expectations.
• Strong track record managing regulatory relationships and delivering timely licensing outcomes.
• Proactive, independent, and capable of building compliance frameworks in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
