Job description

We are seeking a motivated, responsible and reliable Operator Trainer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individual with passion for heavy machinery and ground engineering to build a rewarding career in the foundation and geotechnical industry.

Job Description

  • Provide familiarization and training to customer's operators.
  • Assist in the setup and operation of bored piling rigs and associated equipment.
  • Support the senior operator with daily tasks, site preparation and machine maintenance.
  • Assist in lifting and rigging tasks according to senior operator instructions.
  • Assist in troubleshooting machine faults.
  • Support the commissioning of new machines, as well as the erection and dismantling of equipment.
  • Monitor safety procedures and adhere to company health and safety standards.
  • Carry out routine maintenance checks and report issues as required.
  • Record daily activities and assist in quality control documentation.

Job Requirements

  • Familiarity to BAUER equipment; bore pile / grab / trench cutter would be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in construction or groundworks.
  • Relevant piling operation experience is highly desirable.
  • Bored Piling Operation certificate.
  • Licensed crane operator certification is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive attitude and good problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a physical demanding environment.
  • Strong awareness of health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Willing to learn and follow instructions from senior operator.
  • Willing to take on overseas assignments.
  • This is a hands-on, field-based role that involves daily jobsite activity.
  • Comfortable with overtime and weekend work when required.
