Job description
Key Responsibilities :
Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes in large quantities following standard recipes and kitchen procedures.
Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation.
Follow food hygiene and safety standards (compliance with NEA regulations is a must).
Assist in receiving, storing, and managing inventory of raw ingredients and kitchen supplies.
Operate and maintain kitchen equipment used in mass food production.
Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to meet production timelines and daily order requirements.
Maintain cleanliness of the central kitchen workspace, utensils, and machinery.
Participate in regular kitchen audits and quality checks.
Requirements :
Proven experience working in a central kitchen or high-volume food production setting.
Familiarity with HACCP and NEA food safety standards.
Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work early shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
Team-oriented attitude with strong attention to detail.
Culinary certification or relevant training is an advantage.
