Certis IFM is seeking a skilled and proactive ACMV Engineer to manage the maintenance and operations of mechanical and building systems, with a key focus on ACMV, for one of our flagship projects located on the east side of Singapore. Responsibilities :
- Plan, execute, and oversee all mechanical and building maintenance activities, including but not limited to plumbing and sanitary systems, ACMV, and general building repairs.
- Manage term contractors and lead a team of technical officers and technicians in facilities operations, troubleshooting, preventive, and breakdown maintenance.
- Provide expert consultancy on mechanical and building-related issues, offering feasible solutions and coordinating with property owners, contractors, vendors, and users to ensure engineering requirements are met.
- Continuously review and enhance the preventive maintenance programme to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards, maintaining up-to-date documentation and records.
- Oversee project cost control while maintaining service quality standards and ensuring proper documentation.
Key Skills & Qualifications :
A minimum of 3 years' experience in ACMV system operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting within facilities management. Experience with project management, system upgrades, and installations is also valuable.Relevant professional certifications such as FSM, SCEM, LP, GMM, GMFM, WSH, SSC, or equivalent will be an advantage.Proven ability to lead and manage teams of technical professionals, contractors, and vendors, ensuring effective communication and high-quality service delivery.Solid understanding of local regulations, building codes, and safety standards relating to ACMV systems and facilities management.Experience in energy efficiency initiatives and optimising ACMV system performance to reduce operational costs.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.Self-driven and able to work independently, demonstrating a proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational issues.Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning), Intelligent Building Technology, or a related field.
