Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the construction and infrastructure sectors, including residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, contractors, consultants, government agencies, and institutional clients.
  • Create and present compelling business proposals, tender documents, and project investment plans.
  • Monitor industry trends, market demands, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Maintain general knowledge and awareness of urban planning, sustainable construction practices, and infrastructure policies.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments for new construction projects, including environmental, logistical, and regulatory considerations.
  • Lead strategic planning initiatives for market expansion, project portfolio diversification, and entry into new regional or international markets.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, procurement, and project management teams to align initiatives with commercial and operational goals.
  • Represent the organization at industry expos, trade fairs, construction forums, and business networking events.
  • Develop partnerships with government bodies, regulatory authorities, and funding institutions to secure approvals, incentives, or grants.

Requirements :

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in business or organizational development within the construction or real estate sector.
  • Willingness to work on public holidays, weekends, and rotational shifts based on project demands.
  • Flexibility to travel and be stationed at overseas project sites or branches for extended periods.
  • Proven track record in identifying opportunities and delivering growth in the construction industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Experience in the design and implementation of business development strategies specific to construction and infrastructure.
  • Ability to manage conflict and resolve project-related disputes effectively.
  • Self-motivated and capable of leading and inspiring cross-functional teams.
