Roles & Responsibilities

Morgan McKinley is looking for a skilled Golang Software Engineer ! This role is for a 12 months contract with our multinational client in the tech industry.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using Golang.
Modernize the existing legacy lending platform with a focus on platformization, scalability, extensibility, and testability.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage ambiguity, and drive projects throughout their lifecycle.
Coordinate with vendors to integrate their services with the company's lending platform.
Partner with cross-functional teams—including product and business units—to influence technical direction and define product features.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent.

With 5 to 10+ years of hands-on experience developing distributed systems that deliver scalable and reliable solutions.

At least 2 years of practical experience in Golang, along with strong knowledge of technologies such as Kubernetes (K8s), Redis, Aerospike, and MySQL.

Proven experience deploying applications in cloud environments such as AWS and GCP.

Solid background in the lending domain, particularly in developing core lending systems and integrating with third-party platforms like Mambu or similar LMS solutions.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with product and business teams to guide technical decisions and shape feature development.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
