Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

  • Assist underwriters by collecting and reviewing documentation for new and renewal applications
  • Enter and maintain accurate data in internal systems
  • Follow up on missing or incomplete information with brokers or agents
  • Help prepare quotes, binders, and policy documents
  • Maintain underwriting files and ensure compliance with internal guidelines
  • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., claims, policy issuance, customer service) as needed
  • Provide general administrative support to the underwriting team.

Requirements :

  • Diploma with at least 2 years of administrative experience, preferably within the general insurance space.
  • Good understanding of risk assessment, laws and legislation in relation to the general insurance industry and specifically within the Property & Casualty field.
  • BCP, PGI and CGI certified.
