Key Roles and Responsibilities

A)PROCUREMENT ANALYTICS

Procurement Performance

  • Develop and maintain dashboard and visualizations to track key procurement metrics and performance indicators.
  • Analyze and report procurement data sets, including spend, supplier performance, and identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct assurance to ensure data reported is accurate.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency and integrity across systems and reports.
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues related to procurement master data.
  • Establish monthly, quarterly or annual reporting to the Senior Leadership Committee, Board Risk Committee, and other Committees, where applicable.

System Enhancement & User Training

  • Work jointly with respective functions, users and vendor for e-procurement system improvements and enhancement.
  • Building / enhance training material and translate to e-learning as appropriate with Learning and Development function.
  • Responsible for delivering all procurement-related training.
  • B)PROCUREMENT GOVERNANCE

    Procurement Assurance Checks

  • Conduct assurance activities to ensure compliance with Group Procurement Policy, standards and regulatory requirements through conducting review and audits.
  • Verify compliance with procurement policies, procedures, thresholds, and approving authorities through assessing procurement documentation for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to internal policies and standards.
  • Liaise with legal, finance, internal audit, and other relevant functions on issues of compliance and governance.
  • Risk Management

  • Identify, assess, and report on procurement-related risks and non-compliance uncovered during assurance checks.
  • Recommend remedial / improvement actions and track implementation where appropriate.
  • Assurance Reporting

  • Maintain assurance records, tracking findings, actions, and trends over time for audit readiness and reporting.
  • Prepare detailed reports of assurance findings, including risk ratings, areas of concern, and recommendations.
  • Support periodic internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
  • C)STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to track compliance and procurement KPI.
  • Liaise with procurement teams, contract owners, finance, legal, internal audit and other relevant functions to clarify findings or gather further evidence.
  • Provide feedback and advisory support to procurement teams on improving compliance and documentation quality.
  • D)PROCUREMENT COMMUNITY BUILDING

  • Support Head of Group Procurement to organize procurement related council meetings and category reviews.
  • Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Degree / Diploma holder with a minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in procurement or supply chain.
  • Knowledge of relevant IT systems including SAP, e-procurement system
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills
  • Strong team player with strong communication skills in a concise and timely manner.
  • Ability to work cohesively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and driving changes.
  • Proficient in Excel and at least one BI tool (e.g PowerBI).
  • Familiarity with procurement systems (e.g., E-Procurement systems such as GEP or equivalent, and SAP Material Management).
  • Excellent presentation skills
