Job description

A Singapore-based fund manager is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate for its Advisory team, to strengthen its advisory capabilities.

We are serving clients who are entrepreneurs, family businesses, and high net-worth individuals in areas such as international expansion, investment solutions, capital allocation, and long-term business strategy. With active networks across Asia Pacific, the team provides tailored, high-impact solutions with regional execution capabilities.

In this role, you will play a key part in client engagements and advisory execution-bridging capital and enterprises with opportunities across Asia Pacific. Drawing on your experience in diverse areas such as private equity, venture capital, and consulting, you will contribute to strategy design, market analysis, and client management.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Support advisory projects involving market entry, corporate strategy, and regional expansion needs of clients
  • Client relationship management and / or development with founders, executives and other stakeholders
  • Conduct strategic and financial analysis to support client projects and / or advisory initiatives
  • Coordinate with other in-house functions such as compliance, legal, finance, and market research teams to ensure integrated front-end delivery of services to the client
  • Participate in deal analysis, business planning, and business strategy where required

Candidate Profile : You should have :

  • at least a Bachelor's degree or Masters degree from a reputable university in finance, business or complementary areas
  • working experience in Singapore of at least 2-3 years in finance, business or complementary areas, such as private equity, venture capital, consulting, or related strategic roles
  • strong client engagement and communication skills, with ability to handle senior stakeholders and control functions
  • excellent logical thinking and strategic problem-solving capabilities
  • insight into cross-border business practices in Singapore and Asia Pacific
  • effective bilingual fluency in English and one other commonly used language in Asia Pacific, such as Chinese, Bahasa Indonesia or Malay
  • strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • good working knowledge of Microsoft office functions
