Job description

Job Description

  • Handling the entire procurement cycle including sourcing, negotiation, price comparison, issuance of PO and GRN.
  • Manage purchase orders including tracking deliveries and ensure timely receipt of goods.
  • Negotiate contract, payment terms and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
  • Constantly review price and source for new suppliers to ensure price competitiveness.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives and production needs.
  • Review specifications and ensure materials ordered meet the production requirements and require Mill Certs / test report when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and purchasing documentation for payment processing.
  • Any other relevant duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Diploma in business administration / supply chain management / engineering or equivalent
  • At least 2 year(s) of procurement role preferably in manufacturing industry
  • Fresh grades are welcome to apply
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate in English, Mandarin & Malay will be an added advantage
  • Prior sourcing experience in Malaysia preferred.
  • Able to work independently and Multitasking

  • Work Location : Tuas
  • Company transport for Tuas Office Pick Up at Blk 978 Jurong West St 91, Gul Circle MRT and Chua Chu Kang MRT
