Reconciliation Operations Specialist

Our client, an established hedge fund company, is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Reconciliation Operations specialist to join their operations team. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in reconciliation who are eager to contribute to the stability and efficiency of post-trade investment processes. The successful candidate will support critical front-to-back workflows while collaborating closely with portfolio managers, trading teams, and external service providers.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Reconciliations : positions, cash, and trade break resolution

Broad product coverage across asset classes (Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives)

Provide insights on reconciliation results, highlighting key trends and issues

Utilize reconciliation tools and systems to automate and streamline reconciliation processes

Escalate unresolved issues to management and recommend solutions for process improvements

Assist in the development and documentation of reconciliation procedures and best practices

Assist in testing enhancements related to reconciliation processes

REQUIREMENTS :

Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related disciplines

5 years of relevant reconciliation experience in the Finance industry

Previous experience in Buy Side would be a plus

Excellent product knowledge on Bonds, IRS, FX, Options, Equities, Futures and OTCs
