OUE Healthcare is seeking a results-oriented self-starter to join the Sleep Laboratory and Clinic of our subsidiary group. The Chief Sleep Technologist is responsible for overseeing the operations of the sleep laboratory and clinic and lead a team to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and compliance with regulations and accreditation standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Leadership and Management
- Supervise, mentor, and manage a team of Sleep Technologists, ensuring optimal performance and staff development.
- Coordinate staff scheduling, ensuring adequate coverage for all services, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Lead team training initiatives, oversee interscorer reliability testing, and maintain staff competency.
Operational Oversight
Oversee daily laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with policies, accreditation standards, and patient safety protocols.Monitor and improve laboratory processes, including scheduling efficiency, equipment maintenance, and quality control.Manage inventory and procurement of equipment and supplies for the Sleep Laboratory and Clinic.Clinical and Technical Expertise
Perform and supervise advanced diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies, including polysomnography, CPAP titration, and portable sleep tests.Provide guidance in troubleshooting complex technical issues related to sleep equipment and procedures.Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines and regulatory standards for all sleep diagnostic procedures.Strategic Planning
Collaborate with leadership team to develop and implement long-term strategies for the Sleep Laboratory.Contribute to policy development, accreditation efforts, and service expansion.Patient Care, Clinic Administration and Service Delivery

Degree or Diploma in Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, Life Sciences, Health Sciences, or equivalent.At least 5 years of working experience in a Sleep Laboratory setting, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.Experience in managing accreditation processes and maintaining quality standards is preferred.Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) with the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT).Accreditation in sleep scoring (e.g., AASM Sleep ISR or similar) is an advantage.Holds a valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate.Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with CPAP manufacturer software and cloud-based platforms.J-18808-Ljbffr
