Job Summary :
We are looking for a technically capable and business-savvy IT Business Solutions Manager to lead a small team (under 5 people) in building and launching a new Payroll System (SaaS model). This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a lean environment, thrives in cross-functional settings, and can drive both technical delivery and business alignment .
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the end-to-end development of the payroll system-from business requirements gathering, system design, prototyping, to final deployment.
- Build and manage a small technical team (no more than 5 members), ensuring efficient collaboration, task delegation, and quality delivery.
- Act as the key bridge between business stakeholders and technical execution , turning business needs into practical solutions.
- Design and oversee the implementation of payroll logic , including salary computation, tax deductions, CPF, bonuses, leave encashment, etc.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements , including reporting.
- Monitor project timelines, manage risks, and ensure delivery within scope and budget.
- Collect and act on post-launch feedback to iteratively improve the product .
- Provide mentorship and day-to-day leadership to team members.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline .5+ years of IT experience , with at least 2+ years in payroll system or HR software development .Demonstrated ability to build and lead a lean development team from scratch.Strong knowledge of payroll processes , statutory calculations, and compliance requirements.Familiarity with SaaS systems , system integration, and API design.Independent, accountable, and hands-on-comfortable working in an early-stage or startup-style environment.Exposure to HRMS, accounting systems , or regional compliance platforms.Familiar with tech stacks such as Node.js, Python, or Java , and relational databases.Maxhunt Resource Pte Ltd | EA Licence : 22C1322
