Job descriptionTo plan and implement the curriculum under the guidance of the Centre Supervisor to ensure a well-run, purposeful, engaging and child-centered programme responsive to children's needs and aligned to the principles spelt out in the standard ECE Framework.Create a learner-centered environment where children can explore, experiment, and interact to learn.Participate actively in assessing the needs of the children.Work with and support the Centre Supervisor and other staff at the Centre in enhancing the quality of children's educational experiences.Contribute one's talents and professional expertise towards the centre's initiatives, educational programmes and projects.Establish good relationships with parents as partners in care and education.Keep abreast of the latest educational development and to continually upgrade one's skills and knowledge.Be involved in simple action research projects.Role-model professionalism in appearance, speech and action.Create a safe learning environment and to provide the best possible care to children under their charge.Attending courses / seminars / training recommended by the centre and fulfilled at least 20 hours of CPD hours recommended by ECDA.Handing in evaluations for the week and new lesson plan for the following week on a weekly basisLesson Observation will be done 2 times a yearE-Newsletter will need to be prepared and email to Centre Supervisor once a termE-Portfolio will need to be prepared with photos of the children, email to Centre Supervisor and once vetted, emailed to all parents once a month (except June & December)Discharging of event in charge and duties assigned to the best capabilities
