Key Responsibilities

Reporting to HR Director, APAC, and supported by centralised HR Operations and Centres of Excellence comprising Talent Management, Total Rewards and Systems & HR Operations, you will develop a best-in-class, customer-focused HR partnership and deliver excellent HR service to your stakeholders in the region. You will focus on relationship-building, understanding stakeholder priorities, the overarching business priorities, and recommend and execute talent solutions which support these. You will provide expert professional advice, pragmatic guidance and support on all aspects of human resources and people management in line with Company policies and / or legislative requirements.

Duties

Duties include, but are not limited to :

  • Develop and deliver all aspects of HR to support and meet the short, medium and long term aims and objectives of the business (Recruitment; On-boarding / Induction; Performance Management; Reward & Payroll; Organisational Development; Employee Relations / Law and Engagement; Talent Management Learning & Development; Immigration support; HR Operations admin and Payroll)
  • Support APAC based workforce, however have a willingness to support other regions globally when required and under the direction of the SVP Global HR and HR Director APAC.
  • Provide an optimal HR service and build a robust infrastructure to enable the business to grow and operate effectively
  • Responsibility, along with talent acquisition, for attracting and selecting the right people with the right skills and attitude for the Company, ensuring competitiveness in the labour market
  • Ensure people are recognised and rewarded for their excellent contribution
  • Create and sustain an environment that continually motivates people to contribute and enhance business growth and productivity
  • Enable people to carry out their role well, develop and progress where possible through continuous learning
  • Continue to create an agile and fluid organisation to meet the short, medium and longer-term business requirements
  • Ensure effective cross-cultural communication and team collaboration to promote overall team cooperation effectiveness and coherence? in the APAC region.
  • Regularly review and update employee relations policies in APAC region to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Handling sensitive employee relations issues, such as conflicts or grievances, that and providing guidance on resolution.
  • Where required will deputise for the HR Director and support as necessary
  • Any other duties as might be required within the remit and responsibilities of the post.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or above , HR major is preferred
  • Already an experienced Senior HR executive  / HRBP
  • Significant experience of all aspects of HR including : Recruitment; immigration support; reward / benefits and payroll; engagement; employee relations / law and policy development; learning and development; performance / people management; organisational design; and excellent HR service, systems, administration and delivery
  • Ability to work strategically and operationally delivering HR tactical plans
  • Fully conversant and up to date with all aspects of employment law and best practice HR.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Able to prioritise, work at pace, be flexible and deliver results
  • Computer literate - Microsoft Office applications : Outlook; Word; Excel : PowerPoint; Project, as well as other HR related systems etc.
  • Approachable, confident outgoing personality able to deal with all types of people from all walks of life.
  • Positive and collaborative with a “can do” attitude
  • Has the ability, resilience and robustness to work independently and as part of the broader HR team.
