Job description

Key Responsibility :

  • Project Leadership & Coordination : Support project execution and ensure alignment with approved plans.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance : Monitor project standards and contractor performance.
  • Stakeholder Management : Facilitate communication between HDB, contractors, and technical teams.
  • Construction Oversight : Supervise site works for quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Risk & Cost Management : Track budgets, timelines, and propose solutions for delays or cost overruns.
  • Documentation & Reporting : Maintain records for project approvals and milestone tracking.
  • Public & Safety Considerations : Address environmental impact and ensure site safety.
  • Defects Management & Post-Construction Coordination : Oversee issue resolution and final project assessments.

Requirements :

  • Educational Qualification : Degree in Architecture, Civil / Structural / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Building Science, Project Management, or a related discipline (recognized by professional bodies like the Board of Architects, PEB, or BCA).
  • Project Management Experience : Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in managing building construction projects, preferably HDB developments.
  • Safety & Technical Certifications :
  • Construction Safety Course for Project Managers (accredited by MOM).
  • Design for Safety Appreciation Course (accredited by MOM).
  • Registered Earthworks Supervisor Course (MOM-accredited).
  • Competency in Earth Control Measures (for construction site personnel).
  • CONQUAS Training (for developers & consultants by BCA).
  • Strong Coordination Skills : Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, including technical professionals, resident engineers, registered technical officers, and contractors.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities : Experience in project budgeting, cost control, and delay mitigation planning.
  • Compliance & Reporting : Familiarity with HDB policies, regulatory submissions, and managing e-submission systems.
