Job Summary :

The Production Support Specialist for databases ensures smooth operation, maintenance, and performance of data warehouse systems. This role involves troubleshooting, optimizing ETL processes, and supporting users with data-related issues in a banking environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Monitor and maintain data warehouse performance, availability, and reliability.
Troubleshoot and debug ETL jobs (e.g., Informatica, SSIS) and optimize SQL queries.
Support users with data queries, report development (SQL, PL / SQL), and ensure data integrity.
Document processes, resolve incidents, and adhere to security / compliance standards.
Collaborate with teams to improve data pipelines and system efficiency.

Requirements :

Experience : 6-10 years in application production support for Banking and Financial services

Technical Skills :

Proficient in Oracle, SQL Server, PL / SQL , and ETL tools.

Knowledge of data warehouse concepts (star / snowflake schemas).

Familiarity with Unix / Windows scripting, Control-M, ServiceNow .

Certifications : ITIL Foundation (preferred).
