Cana Consulting is partnering with a leading MNC in search of a Group Accountant.

Role Overview :

The Accountant is to join a central finance team, playing a crucial part in financial accounting and reporting. This position is integral to the group consolidation team , focusing on both financial and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities :

• Financial Operations & Reporting : Handle financial closing and budgeting processes. This includes reviewing and analyzing financial reports from international subsidiaries and coordinating with their finance teams for submissions.
• Group Consolidation : Support the accurate and timely preparation and analysis of consolidated financial and management reports, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies.
• External Reporting & Compliance : Assist in the preparation of result announcements, financial statements, and the annual report. Ensure adherence to all accounting, tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
• Audit & Tax Support : Contribute to the annual audit process and tax filing activities.
• Project & System Involvement : Support system implementation / improvements and participate in various ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed.
