Roles & Responsibilities
The M&E Manager will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical and electrical aspects of data centre construction projects, from planning through to commissioning. This includes leading internal teams (M&E Coordinators, BIM, and site supervisors), coordinating with external stakeholders, and ensuring smooth and efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage M&E works across all project phases — from design to commissioning.
- Oversee M&E contract administration and support full project lifecycle management.
- Identify and resolve design, technical, and delivery challenges across data centre builds.
- Coordinate closely with subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and clients to ensure design, installation, and commissioning meet all project standards.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely progress and delivery.
- Conduct regular site meetings with subcontractors and stakeholders to resolve issues and manage interfaces.
- Drive value engineering initiatives and optimise M&E design outcomes.
- Support BIM / VDC integration for design coordination and digital project delivery.
- Ensure documentation, reporting, and updates to senior stakeholders are well-managed.
Requirements :
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with an A1 Main Contractor.Completed at least 3–4 full-cycle building projects, with at least 1 data centre project.Proven experience in managing M&E scopes in data centre or mission-critical infrastructure.Familiar with Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) concepts.Tell employers what skills you have
