M&E Manager (Data Center)

Roles & Responsibilities

The M&E Manager will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical and electrical aspects of data centre construction projects, from planning through to commissioning. This includes leading internal teams (M&E Coordinators, BIM, and site supervisors), coordinating with external stakeholders, and ensuring smooth and efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage M&E works across all project phases — from design to commissioning.
• Oversee M&E contract administration and support full project lifecycle management.
• Identify and resolve design, technical, and delivery challenges across data centre builds.
• Coordinate closely with subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and clients to ensure design, installation, and commissioning meet all project standards.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely progress and delivery.
• Conduct regular site meetings with subcontractors and stakeholders to resolve issues and manage interfaces.
• Drive value engineering initiatives and optimise M&E design outcomes.
• Support BIM / VDC integration for design coordination and digital project delivery.
• Ensure documentation, reporting, and updates to senior stakeholders are well-managed.
