Driven by the passion to improve the quality of people’s lives, WS Audiology continues to grow as the market leader in the hearing aid industry. With our commitment to increase penetration in an underserved hearing care market, we want to accelerate our business transformation to reach more people, more effectively.
As an EAD Intern, you will work with a collaborative robot arm system to perform tests and optimize performance. You’ll help improve audio DSP algorithms for signal analysis, support the correlation of simulations with real data, and assist in experiments on Electromagnetic topics. You’ll also aid in hearing aid testing, document results, analyze data, and collaborate on system improvements.
What you will do
- Operate and support testing using a collaborative robotic arm system, focusing on performance optimization
- Enhance audio DSP algorithms to identify and analyze signal quality issues
- Contribute to developing methods that align simulation data with real-world measurement results
- Assist in planning and conducting experiments to gather data on Electromagnetic-related topics
- Assist in testing and evaluating hearing aids, including documenting results, analyzing data, and working with engineers to drive system enhancements.
What you bring
Undergraduate in Electrical and electronic Engineering, Computer engineering, or computer scienceDemonstrated ability to work independently with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsSolid understanding of electronics and hands-on experience using test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes) for evaluation and troubleshootingProficiency in programming with experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) using Python, C++, or similar languagesPreferred : Experience with automation, DSP, simulation, microcontroller-based projects, or image processingAvailability for a minimum 6-month commitment.
