Report to : Sales Director / COO

Responsibilities :

1. Project Responsibilities

  • Lead the conceptual and detailed design of HVAC & R systems, including load calculations, equipment selection, control strategies, and energy optimization.
  • Develop customized technical solutions based on client requirements, site conditions, and sustainability goals.
  • Prepare and review engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation using CAD and design software.
  • Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, and system audits to support solution development.
  • Ensure all designs comply with regional codes, standards (e.g., SS 553 : 2016+A1 : 2017, SS 554 : 2016+A1 : 2021), and environmental regulations .
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure design integrity and technical excellence throughout the project lifecycle.

2. Sales Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of existing customer accounts , ensuring satisfaction and growth.
  • Identify and develop new customer accounts in targeted market segments.
  • Conduct market surveys to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to consultants, developers, and owners.
  • Develop and execute sales plans and forecasts , aligned with company goals.
  • Manage day-to-day customer inquiries , issues, and relationship-building activities.
  • Communicate all relevant information and insights to management in a timely and structured manner.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing tools and content , including website updates, social media, brochures, datasheets, and specification sheets.
  • Promote innovative technologies and energy-efficient solutions to meet client needs and sustainability goals.
  • Attend client and project meetings to support sales and project alignment.
  • Requirements :

  • A recognized relevant academic degree in engineering.
  • 5-10 years of experience in technical sales experience, selling products and solutions in the HVAC & Ref industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC standards (e.g., SS 553 : 2016+A1 : 2017, SS 554 : 2016+A1 : 2021) and energy efficiency practices.
  • Proficient in HVAC design software.
  • Highly interested in the commercial element of engineering while being technically adept.
  • Ambition to build and be part of a dynamic sales team, with a strong technical background.

  • Drive with enthusiasm to succeed in tasks.
  • Being positive, outgoing, energetic and resilient.

  • Fluent in English; and other languages are assets.
