Reefknot is seeking a dynamic and experienced investment professional to join our team as an Investment Associate, playing a key role in advancing our Venture Capital & Private Equity initiatives.

In this role, you will work closely with the Management Team to source, execute and manage investments, including supporting the growth and performance of our portfolio companies. Additionally, you may be involved in upcoming think-tank initiatives and events where you will be exposed to global thought leadership, innovative business models and disruptive technologies that are shaping the future of the Supply Chain and Logistics sector.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist the Management Team across all stages of private capital investments - sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities, leading due diligence efforts (including financial diligence, product-specific diligence, market analysis, development of investment theses and themes), legal documentation, negotiation, and investment committee presentations.
- Monitor the financial performance, operational metrics, and industry trends of assigned portfolio companies. Deeply understand capital structure and shareholder rights to provide insightful analysis and assist in regular reviews with the Management Team.
- Proactively work with board members and portfolio company leadership to implement growth initiatives, operational improvements and strategic value creation plans to drive business performance.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders including investors, start-ups, and industry partners to enhance deal flow and partnership opportunities.
- Contribute to the firm's investment strategy, thought leadership, and brand development efforts to strengthen the firm's positioning and reputation.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree from a reputable university is required; an MBA or other relevant postgraduate degree (CFA, CPA) is preferred.Minimum 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in Private Equity, Venture Capital, Investment Banking, Management Consulting or Corporate Development, with a proven track record in sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities.Strong network and deep understanding of the Private Equity, Venture Capital and start-up ecosystem.Critical-thinking, analytical rigor and sound decision-making capabilities.Strong quantitative skills and proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques and scenario analysis.Strong grasp of AI and associated math models and technologies is preferred.Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.Detail-orientated with the ability to work independently
